Job Summary

You will design, deploy, and maintain robust LAN/WAN network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and security. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate systems and support cloud networking environments, driving reliable and scalable network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructure to meet organizational connectivity needs
• Configure and manage routers, switches, and access points to optimize network functionality
• Monitor network performance continuously and proactively troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect organizational assets
• Manage VPNs, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and DNS/DHCP services to ensure efficient network operations
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates to maintain system integrity and performance
• Support cloud networking environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to enable hybrid network architectures
• Develop and maintain network backup, disaster recovery, and redundancy plans to ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network systems and support deployments for seamless operations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture and configurations for transparency and troubleshooting
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to resolve network-related issues promptly

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or related field
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall technologies
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Knowledge of network security best practices

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills applied to network issue resolution
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders
