Role Description This full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer / Developer at Gestión del Talento Humano is based in Singapore River, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Software Engineer / Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications, focusing on reliable, scalable solutions that meet business and user requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and efficient code, performing code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management and QA. The role also involves troubleshooting and debugging issues, optimizing performance, maintaining technical documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and tools.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and integrating RESTful APIs and working with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and application in production-quality code.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, or containerization tools (e.g., Node.js, .NET, AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes) is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing tasks independently, and adapting to changing priorities.
