Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Ensure safety of ships and its environment before work activities and hotwork can be carried out
- Fire prevention, fire fighting operation and pollution control work & drills
- Monitor of safety practices onboard vessels/ships
- Safety enforcement and be part of CERT team
- Confine space gas checks
- Participate in daily VSCC meetings and all ISO HSE requirement
- Any Ad-hoc task assigned by General Manager (Yard Operations) &/or Management
Job Requirement:
- Possess minimum GCE "N" level or equivalent
- Possess relevant safety & health certificates including Shipyard Supervisor
- Possess Safety certificate and diploma certificate in Workplace Safety & health (WSH) & Fire fighting certificate
- Meticulous and proactive
- Assist HSE assessor / chemist
- Able to perform shift &/or OT duties where required.
