  • Plan and arrange electrical power provision, including generator set and distribution board (DB) set-up, within the timelines set out.
  • Plan and arrange temporary water provision to new work areas in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Ensure all generator sets and electrical tools/equipment are inspected and certified by a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to site maintenance issues (e.g. power, water, general M&E defects), ensuring timely rectification.

  • Groom and develop junior electricians and chargehands to support succession planning within the team.
  • Identify and implement lean, digitalization, and sustainability (green) initiatives within areas of responsibility.
  • Handle scheduled duties outside regular hours as required, including emergency or after-hours M&E support.

Role Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification or relevant BCA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in M&E works within the building/construction industry, including generator sets, distribution boards, and temporary power/water installations.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to manage direct workers and subcontractors and multiple work fronts.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including undertime-sensitive project conditions.
  • Good understanding of site safety, environmental control measures (e.g. ECM), and quality standards.
