Responsibilities
Merchandising & Procurement Executive
World Farm, Singapore's home-grown garden centre, is seeking a hands-on Merchandising & Procurement Executive to drive product sourcing, pricing, merchandising, and inventory performance.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute attractive visual merchandising displays to enhance sales and customer experience.
Ensure accurate pricing, promotional displays, stock availability, and FIFO stock rotation.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee procurement of non-perishable products.
Monitor inventory, optimise stock levels, analyse sales and promotion performance, and provide management reports.
Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams on campaigns and support ad-hoc business needs.
Requirements
Experience in retail merchandising, procurement, and pricing.
Strong commercial acumen, supplier negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficient in Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
Diploma qualification.
Able to liaise with suppliers in China to build long-term partnerships.
Passion for retail, trends, and gardening is an advantage.
