Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Industrial Machinery Manufacturing
• Position Title: Service Technician
• Working Location: Central
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 830am-530pm
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,500 + Allowance + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of pumps and related systems.
• Carry out hands-on troubleshooting, servicing, and minor repair works at customer sites.
• Overhaul oil-lubricated vane pumps, dry vane pumps, claw pumps, and screw pumps in the workshop.
• Provide technical support and user training on pump operation and maintenance.
• Diagnose equipment failures and prepare detailed failure analysis reports.
• Create, update, and maintain service records in the company database.
• Use the company’s intranet system to retrieve technical information relating to pumps and systems.
• Respond promptly to service requests and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with the Service Team to support workshop and on-site service activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of experience servicing pumps, industrial equipment, or mechanical systems is preferred.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify mechanical faults and recommend suitable solutions.
• Experience in pump installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, or overhaul is an advantage.
• Able to prepare technical and service reports accurately.
• Self-driven, hardworking, and willing to learn.
