Job Summary

Starlight Metal is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and reliable Accountant to manage our daily financial operations. The ideal candidate must possess at least 4 years of core accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing or metal industry. Candidates residing near the company’s location will be given strict preference to ensure a smooth daily commute.  

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain day-to-day general ledgers, cash books, and bank transactions accurately.
• Invoicing & Billing: Generate invoices for clients, verify vendor bills, and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
• Taxation & Compliance: Handle calculations and filings for Sales Tax, Income Tax, and withholding taxes in compliance with local regulations.
• Inventory Accounting: Maintain and reconcile stock records, raw materials, and finished goods specific to our metal manufacturing operations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
• Payroll Management: Process monthly staff salaries, wages, and allowances based on attendance records.
• Audit Support: Assist internal and external auditors by providing required financial data and documentation.
