Job Purpose
As an associate dietitian (part-time), your primary role is to provide nutritional support and related services to cancer patients and their families. You help them navigate the clinical nutritional assessment, intervention, counselling and education for cancer patients and survivors to optimize their nutritional status, improve treatment tolerance, support towards recovery, and enhance quality of life.

This position is exclusively for those residing or willing to relocate the following state:
- Iskandar Puteri, Johor
- Penang
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical nutritional therapy (MNT) for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers through in-person, virtual, and/or home visit consultations.
- Formulate individualized nutrition plans and provide case management.
- Maintain proper case records and progress records in NCSM’s database system (i.e., AntEMR).
- Design and conduct training, workshops and community-based programs for cancer patients, caregivers, and community organizations via in-person and/or virtual sessions.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary psychosocial team of healthcare professionals comprising mental health practitioners, dietitians, and social workers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition
- Membership with MAHPC(DTN)
- Good team player as well as the ability to work independently
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Tamil will be an added advantage
