Role Description

The Fund Operations Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of investment funds, ensuring accurate and timely processing of fund transactions, reporting, reconciliations, and operational activities. This role works closely with internal teams, fund managers, custodians, brokers, and other service providers to ensure smooth fund administration and compliance with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily fund operations activities, including investor onboarding, subscriptions, redemptions, switching, and other portfolio-related operational processes.

• Assist in fund administration activities, including NAV calculation, portfolio valuation, income and expense calculation, and timely NAV updates.

• Perform daily reconciliation of cash balances, investment holdings, and fund transactions with custodians, brokers, and other service providers to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Monitor fund cash positions and liquidity requirements to support operational needs and investment activities.

• Review and verify fund transactions and portfolio activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and fund-specific accounting and reporting guidelines.

• Maintain proper documentation, records, and audit trails to support internal and external audit requirements.

• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, workflow processes, and system capabilities.

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• 1 – 3 years of experience in fund operations, asset management, investment operations, fund administration, or related financial services roles.

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in investment operations are encouraged to apply.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
