Working mode: The successful candidate will initially be based at our Rawang office. The company is expected to relocate its operations to Puncak Alam in approximately one year. Upon relocation, the successful candidate will be required to report to and work from the new office in Puncak Alam.

What you need to do:
Lead and supervise the QC team to ensure daily inspection and testing activities are carried out effectively.
Plan, assign, and monitor daily workloads to ensure timely completion of quality control activities.
Review and approve inspection records, test results, COAs, and quality-related documents before release.
Provide training, coaching, and competency assessments for QC personnel.
Make final decisions on product acceptance, rejection, or disposition in accordance with company procedures.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to resolve quality issues.
Lead investigations into customer complaints, supplier quality issues, deviations, and CAPA implementation.
Monitor QC KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, Halal, and other applicable quality standards.
Report QC performance and quality issues to the QA HOD or Management.
What we need from you:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control within the food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or manufacturing industry.
At least 1–2 years of supervisory or team leading experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, Food Safety Management System, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Experience in handling incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections.
Knowledge of laboratory testing, sampling plans, measuring instruments, and calibration procedures.
Familiar with quality documentation, CAPA, deviation, NCR, customer complaints, supplier quality management, and root cause analysis.
Experience liaising with external laboratories, regulatory authorities, and auditors.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and lead a team under tight deadlines.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/QMS systems.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
