Job Responsibilities

• Attend to machine, equipment, and facility breakdowns, and carry out repair work promptly to minimise downtime.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance activities, including repairs, servicing, installation, and commissioning works.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are performed safely and in compliance with company procedures and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
• Assist the superior in implementing preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance programmes.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance consumables, including stock monitoring and purchase requisitions.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors and vendors performing maintenance or installation works within the factory.
• Operate production machines and equipment when required, such as during manpower shortages, urgent production demands, machine trials, or production start-ups.
• Support daily production operations to ensure production targets and schedules are achieved.
• Assist with machine setup, changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency.
• Work closely with Production Supervisors and Operators to resolve machine- and production-related technical issues.
• Ensure all machines are operated safely and in accordance with approved Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
• Maintain good housekeeping practices by adhering to 5S standards at all times.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing operations will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) practices and safe machine operation.
• Willing to operate production machines when required to support operational and production needs.
• Eager to learn, develop new skills, and adapt to both maintenance and production responsibilities.
• A team player who is also capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime based on operational and production requirements.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and workplace housekeeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,800.00 - RM6,200.00 per month
