JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CNC MACHINIST

The position will report to the Production Manager. The place of work will be in our manufacturing company in Kota Kemuning.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate will act as a CNC Machinist for this job position.
• Responsible to set up machining process up to 4 axis & operate CNC machine and follow the target from Leader/Supervisor on number of setups per day.
• Able to operate CNC machines and ensure machined parts meet our requirements and output target per shift.
• Contribute to quality improvements continuously.
• Always comply to our standards and perform documentation support on Quality Control procedures, TPM for machine maintenance and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) procedures. perform documentation support for machining production and Quality records when necessary.
• To perform daily preventive maintenance inspection including 5s.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum qualification: MLVK Level 3/ SKM Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Able to understand CNC machine language/ machine programs (Fanuc./Mitsubishi).
• Capable of fine-tuning machining programs based on process requirements and carrying out program editing whenever necessary.
• Experienced in performing complete machine setup, including setting work offsets and zero points during every model changeover.
• Able to independently prepare and set up machines to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Proficiency in the configuration, setup, and operation of industrial robotics is highly advantageous.

The primary responsibility of this position will be machine setup during changeovers, as well as supporting process optimization through program adjustments when required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
