Brick House Sdn Bhd is a full-service F&B and Events company operating multiple cafés, restaurants, and an events division. We are looking for a motivated and people-oriented HR Executive to join our People & Culture team.
This is a generalist HR role that provides exposure to all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll support, training, administration, and HR operations. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, eager to learn, and passionate about building a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and reference checks.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Prepare employment documents including offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding paperwork.
- Ensure new hire documentation is complete and properly filed.
2. HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records, both physical and digital.
- Update HR databases and employee information.
- Monitor employee confirmations, contract renewals, resignations, and offboarding processes.
- Prepare HR letters and other employment-related documents.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, celebrations, and company events.
- Support initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Help coordinate internal communications and employee announcements.
4. HR Compliance
- Ensure employee documentation complies with company policies and Malaysian labour regulations.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and SOPs.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times.
5. General HR Support
- Assist with HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and basic workforce statistics.
- Provide administrative support to the People & Culture Manager.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–3 years of HR experience will have an added advantage.

- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
