As a Business Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of data engineering, business operations, and executive decision-making. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, managing and modelling data from diverse operational and e-commerce platforms, and designing automated solutions to track and improve core business KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Intelligence & Dashboards: Gather business requirements from cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards. Develop robust DAX measures to track critical commercial metrics (e.g., GMV, conversion rates, and engagement).
• Data Modeling & ETL Management: Oversee end-to-end data pipelines, managing data extraction, cleaning, and transformation (ETL) from external APIs and databases using SQL, PostgreSQL, and Python.
• Process Automation & Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and automate workflows using tools like Google Apps Script, Power Query, and custom API integrations (e.g., connecting CRM/project management tools to centralized databases).
• Actionable Insights & Performance Analysis: Analyze multi-channel performance data (such as e-commerce platforms like TikTok, Shopee, and Lazada) to deliver host-level and brand-level insights that directly drive revenue growth.
• Project Management & Stakeholder Alignment: Manage multiple analytics and operational projects simultaneously. Actively identify cost-saving opportunities, minimize budget overruns, and streamline project timelines through data-driven planning.
• Data Governance & Security: Ensure data quality control, resolve data integrity anomalies across projects, and implement role-based access controls using secure OAuth authentication protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Material/Operations Research), Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a highly quantitative discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Data Analysis, Operations Engineering, or a technical Business Analyst role. Experience acting as a Team Lead or managing cross-functional projects is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:

Languages: Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL), Python (data science/manipulation libraries).
BI Tools: Mastery of Power BI (including DAX), Power Query, and Tableau.
Cloud & Tools: Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Google Apps Script, and Microsoft Excel.
Integrations: Practical experience with API integrations, temporary database management, and OAuth authentication methods.

• Soft Skills: Strong project monitoring and timeline management capabilities; distinct ability to translate technical data architecture into clear, executive-level business stories.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
