Dental Surgery Assistant – Plux Dental Melawati (Taman Melawati)

Job Scope Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental examinations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, and materials before each procedure.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care as instructed by the dentist.
• Assist with taking and developing dental X-rays (if certified and permitted).
• Monitor and replenish dental supplies and inventory.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with clinic policies and safety standards.
• Perform other administrative or clinical duties assigned by the dentist or clinic manager.

Requirements (Qualifications / Kelulusan)

Minimum:

• SPM or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training provided).

Preferred:

• Certificate or Diploma in Dental Surgery Assisting, Dental Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Experience working in a dental clinic is an advantage.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (optional but advantageous).
