Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Culinary Intern to join our kitchen team. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, allowing interns to develop practical culinary skills while working alongside experienced chefs. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, peeling, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with plating and presentation of dishes according to company standards.
• Help with inventory management, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries.
• Support the kitchen team during service hours.
• Learn and apply various cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef or F&B Manager.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related program.
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to take initiative.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when required.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.
