Job Type: 12 months contract based (Extendable/Renewable based on performance)

Working Mode: On Site

Experience: Minimum 8 years of enterprise IT training and change management experience with at least 3 years as a Training Manager or Head of Training on large IT transformation programmes

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct a thorough Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with client's HR, operations, IT, and department heads to identify the training requirements, user personas, and skill gaps for each ICX module
  • Develop a comprehensive Training Plan covering training curriculum design, delivery format, scheduling, venue logistics, trainer assignments, and training readiness milestones aligned with the parallel run and go-live timeline
  • Design role-based training curricula for all ICX modules tailored to distinct user groups including customer service agents, billing officers, field technicians, supervisors, and system administrators
  • Produce all training materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, quick reference cards, system simulation exercises, and screen-recorded e-learning modules
  • Implement and manage a train-the-trainer programme to certify client super users who will sustain internal training capability post go-live
  • Coordinate with the Development team to ensure training environments are configured with realistic training data and representative system scenarios
  • Schedule and deliver training sessions to client staff across all shifts and operational locations in Johor, including classroom, virtual, and blended delivery formats
  • Manage training attendance tracking, assessment scoring, and training completion reporting, escalating low readiness risks to the Programme Manager
  • Develop and administer pre- and post-training knowledge assessments to measure training effectiveness and identify users requiring additional support
  • Coordinate with the BA Lead to ensure training materials accurately reflect approved functional specifications and real operational workflows
  • Provide hypercare training support during the parallel run phase, addressing user queries, conducting refresher sessions, and supporting the go-live support desk
  • Produce training handover documentation including the Master Training Repository, super user certification records, and ongoing training governance recommendations for client's HR

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resource Development, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of enterprise IT training and change management experience with at least 3 years as a Training Manager or Head of Training on large IT transformation programmes
  • Proven experience designing and delivering role-based end-user training for enterprise software platforms — CRM, ERP, billing, or customer portal implementations are strongly preferred
  • CIPD, ATD, or equivalent instructional design and training certification is preferred
  • Experience designing and executing train-the-trainer programmes that build sustainable internal training capacity within client organisations
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or iSpring for producing self-paced digital training content
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training content hosting, completion tracking, and assessment management
  • Exceptional classroom and virtual facilitation skills with the ability to engage and train non-technical operational staff on complex enterprise software
  • Strong instructional design skills including adult learning principles, ADDIE methodology, and scenario-based learning design
  • Experience conducting Training Needs Analysis and managing training logistics for large groups across multiple locations
  • Ability to manage a training project timeline, track training completion metrics, and report training readiness status to programme leadership
  • Experience working in utilities, government, or large-scale service operations organisations is strongly preferred
  • Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is required for training delivery to client operational staff
