Job Description

Responsibilities

The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-for-profit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. We are looking for talented people to join hands with the HKEAA family in contributing to the provision of valid, reliable and equitable examinations and a range of assessment services to meet the educational and societal needs of the community. Applications are now invited for the following post:

Duties: The appointee will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project plan, coordinating the development of instruments and rubrics, organizing and conducting training sessions and workshops, managing the project's operational budget, handling procurement for the project, monitoring the fidelity of data collection procedures, liaising with schools, NGOs and academic institutions for operational matters, and providing support and assisting in any other duties assigned by the supervisor(s).

Requirements:
(a) A doctoral degree in educational and psychological assessment, educational measurement or a related discipline;

(b) At least 6 years of managerial experience in the supervision and management of research work, preferably in an educational, research, or non-profit setting;

(c) Experience in organizing and delivering training, experience in working with schools in Hong Kong is an advantage;

(d) Excellent project management skills;

(e) Excellent professional report writing skills;

(f) Outstanding presentation and communication skills in Putonghua, English, and Cantonese;

(g) Strong ability to communicate clearly with teachers, social workers and administrators;

(h) Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player; and

(i) Resilient, adaptable, and able to maintain composure under pressure.

Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
