Unison Group Hiring! Full Time Moody's RAY Technical Consultant in - Ricebowl

We are seeking an experienced Moody's RAY Technical Consultant (Upgrade Specialist) to support a large-scale banking transformation project in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with the Moody's RiskAuthority (RAY) platform, particularly in version upgrades, migrations, installation, configuration, and technical implementation.

This role requires strong expertise in banking risk systems, database technologies, ETL processes, and close collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and Moody's product specialists to ensure successful platform upgrades and ongoing support.

Moody's RAY Platform

• Lead and execute Moody's RiskAuthority (RAY) version upgrades and migration activities.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain Moody's RAY environments across Development, UAT, and Production.
• Perform system configuration, environment setup, and deployment activities.
• Analyze existing implementations and recommend upgrade strategies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to Moody's RAY applications and infrastructure.
• Perform post-upgrade validation, regression testing support, and production deployment.

Technical Development & Support

• Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Design and maintain ETL processes for data integration from multiple banking source systems.
• Work with Oracle databases and Hadoop ecosystem for large-scale data processing.
• Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation, deployment, and operational support.
• Monitor application performance and optimize system efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents.

Integration & Data Management

• Integrate Moody's RAY with upstream and downstream banking systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and consistency across risk applications.
• Support data migration activities during platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on server setup, database configuration, and application deployment.

Banking Risk & Regulatory Support

• Support risk management applications covering:
• • Asset Liability Management (ALM)
  • Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book (IRRBB)
  • Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
  • Liquidity Risk
  • Basel Regulatory Reporting
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in regulatory and audit-related activities when required.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business users, risk teams, infrastructure teams, DBAs, and Moody's product support.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, technical documentation, and implementation.
• Prepare deployment documents, technical specifications, and operational runbooks.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior team members.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience with Moody's RiskAuthority (RAY).
• Proven experience in RAY version upgrades and migration projects.
• Strong experience with Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop and ETL processes.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
