- Implement and monitor the Project Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Plan to ensure effective execution across all site activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations, client requirements, company HSE policies, and project-specific safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Perform risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and toolbox briefings to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for preventive measures.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements and safe work practices.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, permits, and project safety documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, safety campaigns, and HSE awareness programs.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and site personnel on all HSE-related matters.Promote and enforce a strong safety culture to achieve project HSE objectives and zero-harm performance.
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience in power plants, solar, renewable energy, utility, EPC, construction, or large-scale industrial projects.
- Experience working in construction, installation, commissioning, or operations environments.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations, industry best practices, and international safety standards.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and permit-to-work systems.
- Strong inspection, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a site-based environment.Registered Green Book holder (DOSH) will be an added advantage.
- Willing to be based at the project site in Pahang.
