About the Client

Our client is a leading global energy company undergoing large-scale digital transformation initiatives across its enterprise technology landscape. As part of its global SAP transformation program, the organization is seeking an experienced SAP MM Data Migration Lead to drive materials management data migration activities, ensuring high-quality master data and successful SAP deployment across international business operations.

This role supports stakeholders across the UK and US regions. Candidates should be comfortable working in alignment with business hours for the assigned region.

• Working Hours: Supporting UK/US Region (4:00 PM / 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM / 2:00 AM, Malaysia Time, GMT+8)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Materials Management (MM) data migration activities for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA deployment projects.
• Ensure data readiness, quality, cleansing, validation, and transformation throughout the SAP implementation lifecycle.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate project deliverables while managing multiple workstreams and priorities.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and project members to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with governance standards and project methodologies.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Materials Management (MM), Procurement, Supply Chain, and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
• Support procurement data analysis, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Lead data migration workshops and provide guidance on SAP master data best practices.
• Ensure end-to-end materials management data flows are accurate, complete, and aligned with business requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, migration reports, and status updates to support project governance.
• Work closely with local and global teams to deliver SAP deployment milestones within agreed timelines.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA deployment and SAP data migration projects.
• Proven experience leading SAP data migration initiatives within Materials Management (MM), Procurement, or Supply Chain environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP Materials Management master data, procurement processes, and end-to-end data flows.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P), including Source-to-Contract, Order-to-Receipt, and Invoice-to-Pay processes, or Materials Management (MM), including Inventory Management (IM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Hands-on experience in data cleansing, transformation, validation, and migration activities.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, governance, and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to support either the UK or US region
