Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Proactively monitor network performance, analyze trends, and troubleshoot advanced network issues to minimize downtime.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in accordance with best practices and organizational policies.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise, training, and support to develop their skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and client service teams, to resolve complex network and system-related issues.
  • Develop and enforce network standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
  • Conduct network capacity planning, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ensure network devices and servers meet or exceed agreed SLAs through proactive management and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topology, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Stay up to date with emerging networking technologies and best practices, recommending innovations to enhance infrastructure.


Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of networking principles, technologies, and protocols.
  • Advance knowledge and skillsets in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and systems.
  • Proficiency in network security concepts and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement network strategies and plans.
  • Familiar with various network product (Sophos, Fortinet, Palo Alto, H3C and Aruba)
  • Preferably have at least 5 years of network experience in telco or enterprise network environment
  • Certification in CCNA or CCNP is an advantage
