Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including full set of accounts, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and business performance updates.
• Oversee daily finance operations, including payments, collections, claims, reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet, intercompany, and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Support budgeting, cost control, financial planning, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, vendors, and internal stakeholders on audit, statutory, and finance-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, documentation, approval workflows, and support ad-hoc finance projects and business expansion initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with at least 4–6 years of relevant finance and accounting experience handling full set of accounts independently.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end closing, audit coordination, taxation, statutory compliance, and Malaysian accounting practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; experience in automotive, dealership, hire purchase, banking, or financial services will be an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent) and proficiency in Mandarin are advantageous.
