Role Description The Finance Executive (General Ledger) is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. Our location is nearby LRT/MRT Titiwangsa. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating the general ledger, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities. The Finance Executive will assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, support related documentation and compliance, and reconcile accounts to resolve discrepancies. The role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements within the finance function.


Key Responsibilities:
  • GL & Month-End Closing: Manage journal entries for payroll, fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and monthly recurring expenses.
  • Financial Oversight: Perform bank reconciliations, track patient deposit schedules, and ensure accurate cost allocations.
  • Stock & Procurement: Coordinate with the procurement team to track inventory movements and post system adjustments.
  • Audit & Compliance: Prepare monthly audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers.



Qualifications

  • Professional Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 0-3 years of experience
  • Possess strong Accounting/Finance knowledge and solid Analytical Skills to support accurate decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including handling large data sets and performing reconciliations.
  • Prior experience in general ledger or similar finance roles preferred.
  • Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
