Role Description The SAP MDM Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for leading Master Data Management initiatives across SAP landscapes, including design, governance, implementation, and continuous improvement of master data processes. The SAP MDM Lead will collaborate with business stakeholders and functional consultants to understand business requirements, translate them into robust data models, and ensure data consistency across SAP FICO and other integrated modules. Daily activities include analyzing existing data structures, defining data standards and policies, overseeing data cleansing and migration, and troubleshooting master data-related issues. The role also involves providing guidance to project teams, preparing documentation, training end users on MDM best practices, and supporting ongoing enhancement projects.
Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization, with experience mapping processes to SAP-based solutions.
• Excellent Analytical Skills to assess data quality, identify root causes of issues, and propose effective remediation strategies.
• Consulting experience, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and solution recommendation in SAP environments.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP FICO, including integration points with Master Data and related SAP modules.
• In-depth knowledge of Master Data concepts, governance frameworks, and data migration practices in SAP.
• Experience leading SAP implementation or upgrade projects, especially in MDM or data governance domains.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
• Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
