We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) and Back Office Operations within the Banking or Financial Services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery across business transformation, system implementation, operational enhancements, and process improvement initiatives supporting securities and settlement operations.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, operations teams, technology teams, vendors, and senior management to ensure successful project execution while maintaining compliance with regulatory and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, transition, and closure.
• Lead business and technology projects involving:
• Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI)
• Securities Services
• Trade Settlement
• Back Office Operations
• Custody Operations
• Capital Markets
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and project governance.
• Collaborate with business users, operations teams, IT, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests (RAID).
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, meeting minutes, and change requests.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, Steering Committee meetings, project status updates, and executive reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, audit standards, and operational controls.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency across back-office functions.
• Manage third-party vendors and external implementation partners, ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
• Support business transformation, system migration, and technology modernization initiatives.

RequirementsEducation

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of Project Management experience within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end technology or business transformation projects.
• Hands-on experience managing system implementation, migration, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Back Office Operations and settlement-related processes.
