We are looking for a Senior Associate, Corporate Actions & Data Maintenance who will support corporate action processing and data maintenance activities for assets under management for funds/ clients. This is a specialist role requiring knowledge on securities market data, corporate actions and the ability to ensure timely processes, regulatory reporting and monitoring of service providers. The successful candidate would need to support both investment accounting system and front-office investment management system data requirements, including investment compliance dependent data.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee corporate actions across investment portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate processing of voluntary and mandatory events while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Review corporate action treatments, collaborate with trustees, custodians, and auditors on complex events, and drive continuous improvements to related processes and controls.
  • Maintain and ensure the integrity of security master and portfolio data across investment systems, including pricing, securities setup, account maintenance, holdings, tax information, compliance-related data, and market reference data.
  • Monitor data quality through price validation, stale price reviews, exception monitoring, and reconciliation activities to support accurate fund valuation and reporting.
  • Support the onboarding and maintenance of investment products, portfolios, custodial accounts, brokers, counterparties, and other operational data elements.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting, including submissions to regulators and periodic management reporting.
  • Monitor and report on fund pricing exceptions, including stale price reviews and escalation of key issues.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of trustees, custodians, outsourced service providers, vendors, and data providers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and service level expectations.
  • Contribute to process enhancement initiatives, operational risk management, and continuous improvement of investment operations and data governance practices.
  • Support ad-hoc projects, regulatory initiatives, and other responsibilities assigned by management.


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related discipline; professional accounting qualification would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, investment operations, investment performance measurement within the asset management or financial services industries.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, investment products, investment operations, and fund administration processes.
  • Experience managing corporate actions, security master data, pricing validation, and regulatory reporting within an investment management environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to analyze data and prepare management reports.
  • Hands-on experience with investment management and portfolio accounting systems, including Bloomberg, Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS), or similar platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify issues, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external service providers.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
