Full Time SALES MANAGER Jobs, salary up to MYR 4,500 in Ixora Hotel, Penang Prai - Ricebowl

SUMMARY OF JOB SCOPE

The position is developed in order to build strong relationships between hotel and wholesale FIT & GIT leisure travel agencies, corporate companies and government agencies with business potential to Penang. The primary goal of this position is to generate leads and convert these potential clients into regular guests for hotel room accommodation, F&B outlets, and function rooms for events. Sales Manager is to effectively achieve or exceed sales goals set by the Head of Sales & Marketing Department and maximizes revenues and yield potential. Promote the desired work culture around the IXORA HOTEL PENANG core values and the brand ethos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely
• To comply with property rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook, which may from time to time be amended or replaced.
• To comply with any other directive/assignments from Senior Management which may be requested from time to time.

SALES RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pays visits to former, existing and potential clients in view of entering contracts with them, especially commercial accounts.
• Achieves (a) budgeted sales targets / revenues on key accounts and (b) conversion of key prospects through the preparation and execution of acting plans.
• Prepare regular and special reports as directed by the Head of Sales & Marketing.
• Prepare customized proposals based on clients’ requirements (at time of writing proposals are to be sent within the same day of receipt of enquiry).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
