Job Description

Responsibilities

Since 1908, Solis has successfully been introducing new household appliances for the kitchen, beauty, and climate-control segments. As a Swiss company with a long and rich tradition, values like reliability, trust, and sustainability are particularly important to Solis.

We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Manager to own the strategy, performance, and profitability of our global e-commerce footprint. This role sits in Singapore but has cross-border responsibility for our Shopify Plus webshops in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Belgium, our global and Singapore websites, and our presence on ************* — with a mandate to explore and build the business case for future marketplace expansion.

This is a hands-on, commercially-minded role suited to someone equally comfortable setting P&L targets and forecasts, briefing performance marketing agencies, and thinking through where the business should go next in e-commerce. The role also leads a small team of 1-2 direct reports.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and develop a small team of 1-2 direct reports, setting clear priorities and supporting their growth
  • Ensure day-to-day execution across webshops, SEM, and marketplace channels is well-resourced and coordinated across the team

E-commerce Strategy & P&L Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end e-commerce strategy across all D2C and B2B webshops (Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium), the global and Singapore websites, and the ************* marketplace
  • Manage full P&L for all e-commerce channels, including revenue, margins, and profitability
  • Build and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts across markets and channels
  • Assess and develop the business case, strategy, and operating model for potential expansion into new marketplaces
  • Provide recommendations to leadership on prioritisation, feasibility, and expected commercial impact of new marketplace opportunities
  • Report on channel and market performance, with clear recommendations to leadership

Performance Marketing (SEM)

  • Own the SEM strategy across Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Manage the relationship with our performance marketing agency, setting targets, reviewing performance, and driving continuous optimisation of spend and ROAS
  • Ensure marketing investment is aligned with revenue and margin goals across markets

Agency & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external agencies supporting e-commerce and performance marketing
  • Set clear KPIs, manage day-to-day performance, and hold agencies accountable to targets and budgets

Distributor Consulting (Advisory)

  • Act as an internal e-commerce consultant to distributors in other markets, providing guidance on e-commerce strategy, Amazon strategy, and Amazon advertising
  • Advise distributors on best practices for marketplace listings, ads optimisation, and overall online sales performance
  • Share learnings and playbooks from our own webshop, SEM, and marketplace experience to help distributor markets improve their e-commerce performance
  • Act as a point of escalation for distributor questions on e-commerce and Amazon-related topics, without owning execution or P&L for those markets

Requirements:

  • Min. 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in e-commerce and website management, with demonstrated ownership of P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Hands-on experience working with online platforms such as Shopify / Shopify Plus and Amazon
  • Strong working knowledge of SEM/performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
  • Familiarity with marketing applications and tools such as web analytics and Google AdWords
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Working knowledge of the European market and experience in the SDA/FMCG industry is an advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to translate data into action
  • Excellent stakeholder management and agency management skills
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring a small team is a plus
  • Self-starter who can operate with a high degree of autonomy

Why Join Us?

  • Work with a legacy Swiss brand recognized globally
  • Be part of a small, agile team with opportunities for growth and creativity
  • Gain direct exposure to senior leadership and commercial decision-making
  • Multicultural work environment with regional exposure
