Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to prepare high-quality dishes, maintain food safety and hygiene standards, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items following company recipes and quality standards to ensure consistent food quality and appealing presentation
• Plan and organize daily food preparation and kitchen workflow to maintain smooth operations
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory control and ingredient ordering to prevent shortages and overstock
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation tasks
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to enhance team skills and performance when required
• Minimize food wastage by managing ingredient use cost-effectively
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal promotions that meet customer preferences
• Comply with all workplace safety and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
• Work independently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Communicate and cooperate with team members to support kitchen operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
• Ability to prepare a variety of Asian and/or Western cuisine
• Good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP standards

• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts
