About Our Client
Singapore headquartered logistics company, largest home-carrier in Southeast Asia
Job Description
- Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects supporting fleet management, port systems, and logistics
- Lead implementation and enhancement of systems such as:
- Fleet Management Systems
- Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- ERP (Finance, Procurement, Maintenance)
- Port Community Systems / EDI integrations
- Work closely with Operations, Chartering, Fleet, Finance, and Compliance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Plan and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
- Coordinate internal IT teams, external system integrators, and maritime technology vendors
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, data security standards, and audit requirements (e.g. IMO guidelines, VGM reporting, cybersecurity best practices)
- Oversee system integration with ports, agents, terminals, customers, and partners
- Manage UAT, cutover planning, change management, and post‑implementation support
- Provide regular project updates and risk reports to senior management
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives across shipping operations
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience, ideally within shipping, logistics, transportation, or port operations
- Proven track record delivering enterprise or operational technology projects
- Strong experience managing vendors and complex system integrations
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
