Job Description
As a Consultant at ESC, you will play a key role in delivering risk advisory and process safety services across Singapore and Southeast Asia. You will independently manage and execute Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), Process Hazard Analyses (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA), Process Safety Management (PSM), Safety Case (SC) and related process safety studies.

You will be responsible for project delivery, client liaison and technical reporting while supporting business development activities and mentoring Associate Consultants. You will contribute to ESC’s reputation for technical excellence and client-focused solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver risk advisory and process safety projects to a high technical standard.
  • Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, Safety Case and other process safety studies.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, proposals and tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with clients, project teams, subcontractors and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Support business development through proposal preparation and client engagements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Associate Consultants.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of ESC methodologies, tools and best practices.
  • Support projects across other safety and environmental disciplines where required.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in process safety, risk assessment, engineering consultancy or a related industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking QRA, HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, PSM, Safety Case or similar studies.
  • Strong analytical, planning and project management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage project deliverables and multiple priorities.
  • Experience liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Interest in sustainability, environmental innovation, and regional development.
