Talent Bridge (M) Hiring! Full Time Senior Purchaser (Construction Industry) in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 6,000 - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate the best pricing and commercial terms.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor deliveries to ensure project timelines are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Source new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Site Teams, and Finance to support procurement requirements.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate timely deliveries to project sites.
• Resolve procurement-related issues involving quality, pricing, or delivery.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
• Keep up to date with market pricing and industry trends.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and business partners.
• Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel when required.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
