Purpose: The Project Planner (Kitchen) owns the full journey of a kitchen project from site visit to handover. This role conducts site measurements, coordinates material and hardware purchasing, builds and tracks the project schedule, and manages day-to-day progress across drafting, production, and installation to ensure every kitchen is completed on time, on budget, and to spec.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visits to take accurate measurements and assess site conditions (wall alignment, plumbing, electrical points, structural obstructions).
• Work with the Technical Draftsman/Sales Kitchen Designer to confirm drawings match actual site measurements before production release.
• Prepare and manage the purchasing list for materials, hardware, and accessories needed for each kitchen project, coordinating with suppliers and the purchasing team.
• Build and maintain the project schedule — production timeline, delivery date, and installation date — and communicate updates to all stakeholders.
• Track project progress daily against schedule, flagging delays early and coordinating solutions with production, drafting, and installation teams.
• Coordinate delivery and installation logistics, ensuring materials, hardware, and manpower arrive on-site as scheduled.
• Conduct site visits during and after installation to check progress, resolve on-site issues, and confirm completion against the agreed scope.
• Manage the punch list/snag list process, following up until full project completion and client sign-off.
• Maintain organised project files — measurements, purchase orders, schedules, photos, and completion records — for every project.
• Act as the main point of contact for the client on project timeline and progress updates throughout the project.

Requirements

• Diploma in any technical, interior design, construction management, or business-related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in project coordination, site supervision, or renovation/fit-out project management (kitchen/furniture industry an advantage).
• Comfortable doing regular site visits and taking accurate on-site measurements.
• Strong organisational skills — able to manage multiple projects, schedules, and purchase lists at once.
• Good communication skills to coordinate across design, production, installation, and suppliers.
• Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking schedules and purchase lists; exposure to project management tools an advantage.
• Own transport required for site visits.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
