Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Project Manager in managing all phases of construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Coordinate project activities among consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
  • Review construction drawings, technical documents, method statements, and project specifications.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project schedules, quality requirements, and safety standards.
  • Identify technical issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Supervise site activities and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor project costs, resource allocation, procurement schedules, and material deliveries.
  • Prepare project reports, progress updates, technical documentation, and meeting minutes.
  • Participate in site meetings, technical coordination meetings, and inspections.
  • Support testing, commissioning, project handover, and close-out activities.
  • Promote compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and company policies.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and site personnel where required.

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least 9 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or building construction projects.
  • Experience managing large-scale infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or building construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, project planning, and site management.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
  • Good understanding of quality management, construction sequencing, and risk management.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
  • 6-days work week
