Job Summary

We are looking for Chargeman B0 (33 kV) that responsible for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment up to 33 kilovolts (kV). This role ensures the safe and efficient functioning of high-voltage electrical systems in compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain electrical equipment and systems up to 33kV
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime
• Ensure electrical safety compliance and maintain proper documentation
• Perform testing and inspection of electrical systems as per statutory requirements
• Coordinate and supervise electrical contractors and maintenance teams
• Monitor electrical load and ensure optimal energy usage
• Participate in shutdowns, installations, and commissioning activities
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, inspections, and permits

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in industrial or high-voltage environments
• Experience handling switchgear, transformer, and power distribution systems up to 33kV
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear, protection systems, and safety procedures
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with electrical safety codes, Energy Commission (ST) regulations, and permit-to-work systems
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Willingness to work on-call, shifts, or weekends if required

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM8,800.00 per month
