Video Editor (Mandarin Speaking)

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat, and RedNote.
• Create short-form, platform-native content with strong hooks, captions, motion graphics, and audio.
• Edit long-form content such as interviews, tutorials, and event highlights.
• Add bilingual subtitles (EN/CN), basic motion graphics, color correction, and audio enhancements.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver high-quality content on time.
• Repurpose existing footage into multiple formats for different platforms.
• Organize project files and prepare final assets for publishing.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of video editing experience (agency, in-house, or freelance).
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) for bilingual content production.
• Proficient in storytelling, pacing, typography, transitions, and audio editing.
• Experienced in editing short-form social media content with strong audience retention.
• Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work well with feedback.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
