Responsibilities

Join Our Team as a Healthcare Assistant

We’re looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients and healthcare professionals by assisting with basic patient care and daily activities. They assist with personal care, monitor patients' conditions, maintain cleanliness and safety in healthcare environments, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Support the daily operations of the outpatient clinic, operating theatre (OT), treatment rooms, and daycare surgery ward.
  • Assist doctors during outpatient consultations and surgical procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by conducting initial assessments and providing pre- and post-operative nursing care.
  • Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure all medical equipment and consumables are readily available.
  • Dispense medications and provide patient counseling and health education under the guidance of medical professionals.
  • Coordinate with doctors and other departments to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure correct posting of surgical charges and treatment-related records.
  • Monitor and manage medical supply inventory to prevent shortages.
  • Rotate across different clinical areas, including OT, outpatient services, counseling, medication dispensing, and general nursing support.
  • Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and ethical standards at all times.
  • Deliver excellent patient service and handle patient enquiries and feedback professionally.
  • Participate in marketing, community outreach, and promotional activities to support the growth of the centre when required.
