Role Description The Software Quality Assurance Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore. This role is responsible for leading QA efforts across the HummingBird platform, ensuring high-quality releases through structured testing, documentation, and collaboration with software development teams. Day-to-day tasks include defining test strategies, reviewing and creating test cases, supervising QA engineers, coordinating regression and functional testing, and managing defect tracking and resolution. The Team Lead will work closely with product managers and developers to clarify requirements, maintain testing standards, and support continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. This role also involves mentoring team members, reporting on quality metrics, and contributing to best practices that align with HummingBird’s Responsible AI and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in QA Engineering and Quality Assurance, with hands-on experience designing and executing comprehensive test plans.
• Proficiency in Software Quality Assurance practices, including test case creation, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience collaborating with Software Development teams to align testing activities with architectural and feature requirements.
• Ability to design, review, and optimize Test Cases for functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Proven experience leading or managing QA teams, including mentoring, task allocation, and performance feedback.
• Familiarity with test management tools, bug-tracking systems, and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is preferred.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with experience participating in sprint planning and reviews.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and user experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
