About the Role

As the Head of Group Risk & Compliance, you will lead the Group's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Compliance Management Framework, Business Continuity Management (BCM), and corporate governance initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will work closely with the Executive Committee and Board Risk & Compliance Committee to drive a strong risk culture and ensure effective governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance the Group Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.
• Develop and oversee the Group Compliance Management Framework.
• Drive Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Crisis Management strategies.
• Strengthen corporate governance, internal controls and policy frameworks.
• Provide strategic risk and compliance advisory to senior management and business leaders.
• Partner with Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, HR, IT, Operations and other functions to promote effective governance.
• Prepare Board-level reports, risk dashboards and governance papers.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Risk & Compliance team while fostering a strong risk-aware culture across the Group.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management or a related discipline (Master's degree/MBA is an advantage).

12–15 years of progressive experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Internal Audit or related functions.

Experience presenting to Executive Management and Board Committees.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian regulatory requirements and corporate governance practices.

Professional certifications such as CIA, CRMP, CCEP, ISO 31000, ISO 37301, ISO 22301, CPA, ACCA or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Experience within retail, FMCG or multi-site operations is highly preferred.
