Job Title: Associate Human Resources Business Partner (Associate HRBP)

Job Summary

The Associate HRBP partners with business leaders and employees to support day-to-day HR operations while driving people initiatives that align with business objectives. This role is responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, HR compliance, and HR projects to ensure an engaged, productive, and high-performing workforce in a fast-paced FMCG environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. HR Business Partnering

  • Support business leaders on daily HR matters and provide practical HR solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees.
  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with company policies and business goals.
  • Support organizational restructuring and manpower planning.

2. Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned business functions.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify hiring needs.
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate assessments, and offer management.
  • Improve recruitment quality and time-to-hire.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical positions.

3. Performance Management

  • Support KPI setting and performance review processes.
  • Monitor probation, confirmation, and performance improvement plans (PIP).
  • Coach managers on performance discussions.
  • Ensure timely completion of performance cycles.

4. Employee Relations

  • Handle employee enquiries professionally and confidentially.
  • Support disciplinary cases, investigations, grievance handling, and counselling.
  • Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.
  • Assist in conflict resolution between employees and managers.

5. HR Operations

  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, promotions, transfers, and other HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS.
  • Ensure employee data confidentiality and compliance.
  • Support payroll by ensuring timely submission of HR changes.

6. Learning & Development

  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Identify training needs with business leaders.
  • Support implementation of learning and development initiatives.
  • Monitor mandatory training completion.

7. HR Projects

  • Participate in regional and country HR transformation projects.
  • Support implementation of HR systems, policies, and process improvements.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within HR.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience.
  • Experience in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Consumer Goods is preferred.
  • Knowledge of local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience using HRIS systems is an advantage.

  • Experience supporting organizational change and business growth.
  • Exposure to regional or multinational HR operations is an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen and customer-focused thinking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
