Role Description This full-time Wholesale Sales Intern role is based on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The intern will support wholesale sales activities, including assisting with account management, preparing quotations, and following up on orders and deliveries. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate sales records, updating product and pricing information, and supporting the team in preparing sales reports and analyses. The intern will communicate with wholesale customers, help address inquiries, and support customer service to ensure a positive experience. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams such as logistics and merchandising, contributing to sales presentations, and learning about Decathlon’s products and sports offerings.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and supporting wholesale clients effectively.
• Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication in English and the ability to present information confidently.
• Candidates should possess good Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, track performance, and support decision-making with accurate reporting.
• Candidates should possess a basic understanding of Wholesale and Sales, with interest in account management, negotiation, and commercial operations.
• Enrollment in or completion of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is beneficial.
• Interest in sports and Decathlon’s mission, readiness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are highly valued.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are advantageous.
