QA Testing Intern

Job: Full time internship

We're building an AI agent designed to hold genuine, context-aware conversations and to remember what matters to the people it talks to over time. We're looking for QA interns to help us ensure the quality and integrity of the systems that make this possible.

The heart of this role is conversation. You'll spend real time talking to the AI agent — having genuine, substantive exchanges, not scripted test prompts — and feeding it real information about yourself and your life. Then you'll verify that the agent captured, stored, and recalled that information correctly.

What you'll be testing

(1) Conversational interface — the primary channel through which the agent builds relationships with users. You'll test the quality of its responses, its ability to maintain context within a conversation, and the accuracy of its memory across sessions. Does it remember what was said? Does it return to the right threads? Does it feel genuinely present, or like a generic chatbot?

(2) Memory pipeline — the system that turns conversation into structured memory. You'll test whether the extraction layer accurately identifies what's meaningful in a conversation, whether information is correctly classified for storage, follow-up, or user review, and whether saved memories reflect what was actually shared rather than what was assumed.

(3) Consent and review flow — the user-facing experience of reviewing, confirming, and saving a piece of memory. You'll test whether the consent flow is clear, whether saving works correctly end to end, and whether the interface accurately reflects what's happening technically.

(4) Website — the primary interface through which users discover, access, and interact with the agent. You'll test functionality, flow, copy accuracy, and whether the experience communicates the product's purpose clearly to a first-time visitor.

Who we're looking for

  • Someone detail-oriented and genuinely curious
  • Someone comfortable having real, open conversations and sharing genuine information — the quality of your testing depends on the quality of the data you provide
  • Someone interested in AI agents and how they're built, tested, and improved
  • Someone who cares whether things work as they should, notices when something feels off, and can articulate clearly what went wrong and why it matters

Background
