Job Summary

The Head of IT is responsible for leading the overall IT strategy, planning, and execution to support the company’s business objectives. This role oversees the management of IT infrastructure, systems, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and IT operations while ensuring technology solutions are effectively implemented, maintained, and aligned with business needs.

The Head of IT will provide strategic direction, manage IT resources, oversee system improvements, ensure data security and system reliability, and lead the IT team in delivering efficient and sustainable technology solutions across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, SOPs, processes, and plans aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and systems, including hardware, software, networks, cloud-based systems, and overall system availability.
• Manage the planning, implementation, testing, support, and optimization of enterprise systems and system integrations across the organization.
• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft 365) to improve business operations.
• Establish and maintain IT infrastructure to support business continuity, system uptime, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure the security and integrity of company IT systems and data through effective cybersecurity measures, data protection, and backup management.
• Oversee the IT team and ensure employees receive the necessary system and application training to support business operations.
• Manage system testing, evaluation, and performance monitoring to ensure standards and quality are maintained.
• Manage change requests, system enhancements, and coordination with external system vendors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues while implementing effective problem management processes, including ticketing systems where required.
• Ensure regular system and data backups are maintained to support continuous availability and disaster recovery.
• Support future business intelligence initiatives, enterprise system upgrades, updates, and patches.
• Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
• Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices to support business innovation.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand business requirements and deliver suitable IT solutions.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Superior or Senior Management team.
