We are hiring an Assistant Finance Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established SME located in Mid Valley. This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals looking to grow their career in a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and business forecasts.
• Support financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Monitor daily finance operations, including payroll, invoicing, and financial transactions.
• Assist in managing accounting, reporting, and financial control processes.
• Analyze financial reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve business performance.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Liaise with internal departments, external auditors, and other stakeholders on finance-related matters.
• Support annual audit activities and the preparation of reports for management and shareholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and accounting regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills.
• Good understanding of financial systems and business operations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
