A leading global trading organization is looking for an experienced Modern Workplace Engineer to provide end-user support across a fast-paced front, middle and back-office trading environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing global IT team supporting digital transformation initiatives while working alongside international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop and end-user support for both on-site and remote users across multiple global locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking and application-related issues within a trading environment.
• Manage user onboarding, offboarding and workstation deployments.
• Track and manage incidents through ITSM platforms, ensuring timely resolution and excellent user communication.
• Support desktop infrastructure, system enhancements, technology upgrades and global IT projects.
• Maintain documentation, collaborate with regional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of desktop/end-user support experience, preferably within a trading environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Office 365, SCCM/Intune, Citrix, Exchange, Networking and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience using ITSM platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow or similar.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
• Experience with any of the following platforms/systems: Allegro Horizon ETRM, Trayport Global Vision / Joule, FXAll, WebICE, SunSystems/Q&A, Softmar, Veson IMOS, FEA (Allegro Analytics), Zema, Cubelogic, Bloomberg and Reuters.
• Exposure to Azure, PowerShell, Microsoft Endpoint Manager or cloud technologies will be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support demanding business users in a fast-paced environment.
