Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Fire, Life & Safety Executive to enforce group-wide compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and fire regulations. You will oversee mandatory Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) assessments, manage safety policies, and ensure strict adherence to statutory requirements across all corporate locations to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.

Job Responsibilitie

• sConduct and maintain up-to-date Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) for all work activities to ensure mandatory Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) compliance
• .Lead workplace accident and near-miss investigations, ensuring timely reporting to the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and maintaining proper documentation for audits under the Notification of Accident, Dangerous Occurrence, Occupational Poisoning and Occupational Disease (NADOPOD) Regulations 2004
• .Manage the company Safety & Health Committee as Coordinator and ensure adherence to the DOSH Occupational Safety and Health Workplace Assessment (OSHWA) checklist
• .Coordinate and conduct internal and external safety, health, and fire training, including new-hire induction briefings and specialized rescue techniques
• .Perform regular site inspections and internal OSH/fire safety audits across all group locations, including exhibitions and renovation projects, to verify compliance with structural and safety standards
• .Oversee workplace health and ergonomics, alongside managing first-aid supply inventory and requisitions
• .Manage chemical safety at the workplace by enforcing compliance regarding storage, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), labeling, and exposure standards
• .Serve as the Incident Manager within the Group Emergency Response Team to handle emergency situations effectively
• .Ensure all firefighting systems and equipment comply with the Uniform Building By-Law (UBBL) standards by coordinating regular testing, maintenance, and servicing with appointed fire contractors
• .Act as the primary liaison with DOSH for annual machinery inspections (lifts, escalators) and the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (BOMBA) for routine inspections and mandatory Organisasi Keselamatan Kebakaran (OKK) training
• .Plan, organize, and execute scheduled internal evacuation exercises and fire drills in collaboration with BOMBA
• .Compile and analyze safety data to present quarterly reports on accident trends, corrective actions, and preventive measures

Job Requiremen

• tsDiploma or higher in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or a related disciplin
• e.Minimum 5 years of working experience specializing in OSH and Fire Safet
• y.Certified OSH Coordinator is an added advantag
• e.Deep technical knowledge and familiarity with local OSH and Fire Safety statutory regulation
• s.Proven ability to work independently, manage timelines efficiently, and solve problems creativel
