Technical Engineer (KL & Penang)

Are you an engineering professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and working closely with customers? We're looking for a Technical Engineer to join a leading solutions provider supporting the construction industry.

Locations

• Kuala Lumpur (Klang Valley projects)
• Penang (Northern Region projects)

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide technical support to customers and the sales team, including product proposals, technical submissions, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Handle pre-sales and post-sales technical enquiries from clients, consultants, and architects.
• Conduct product installation training and provide on-site technical troubleshooting.
• Prepare engineering calculations and recommend value-added design solutions that meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Process and manage customer orders.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to support product standardization and future product improvements.
• Conduct technical presentations and seminars to consultants, architects, and customers to generate project specifications.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage).
• Comfortable visiting project sites and providing hands-on technical support.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with customers, consultants, and contractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.

Ideal Candidate

• 1–3 years of experience in a Technical Engineer, Project Engineer, Solution Engineer, or similar role.
• Fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Enjoys a mix of office-based technical work and on-site project support.
