Role Description This part-time Front-End / Back-End Developer role is a hybrid position based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The developer will build and maintain web applications that support Novo Club’s community platform and initiatives, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly experience. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end interfaces, developing back-end services and APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring code quality and performance. The role also involves collaborating with student teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of the digital ecosystem. The individual will work within an agile, collaborative environment and participate in regular reviews and updates.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, such as building responsive user interfaces and working with modern web technologies.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including creating and maintaining APIs, handling data storage, and ensuring application security and performance.
• Candidates should possess Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including version control, testing, debugging, and working within collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with common web frameworks, databases, and RESTful services is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to learn new tools and technologies quickly are preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a student-focused environment are important.
• Experience with hybrid work settings and time management for part-time roles is an advantage.
