Responsibilities

• Translate business and user requirements into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Create interactive prototypes to validate concepts and support stakeholder reviews.
• Apply UX principles to deliver seamless and consistent user experiences across digital touchpoints.
• Ensure designs are responsive and optimised for multiple screen sizes and devices.
• Maintain and contribute to design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
• Collaborate closely with UX researchers, product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support design reviews and iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and usability findings.
• Ensure designs comply with Singapore Government Design System (SGDS), Digital Service Standards (DSS), accessibility requirements, and relevant government guidelines.
• Prepare design specifications and assets to support development implementation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Multimedia, or a related discipline.
• Experience in UI/UX Design, Experience Design, Interaction Design, or Product Design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web and mobile application design.
• Proficiency in Figma.

Required Skills

• Experience creating:

• High-fidelity mock-ups
• Interactive prototypes
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first design principles.
• Experience working with and maintaining design systems.
• Good understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction design best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on Singapore Government digital projects.
• Familiarity with the Singapore Government Design System (SGDS).
• Understanding of Digital Service Standards (DSS).
• Awareness of IM8 governance and security considerations within government environments.
• Experience designing citizen-facing digital services is advantageous.
